On October 8 and 9th 2017 – PDC Machines joined the nation in celebrating the third annual National Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Day. This day marks the growth of the industry by raising awareness of the benefits fuel cells and hydrogen technologies in reducing pollution to create a cleaner environment; generating reliable and resilient power while increasing America’s energy and economic security through the use of clean, renewable sources of energy.
In recognition of this day, PDC Machines employees gave attendees a ride in the vehicles of the future, hydrogen driven fuel cell cars.
PDC Machines also introduced attendees to SimpleFuelTM, an appliance that can be installed in homes, community centers, small businesses and similar locations for fueling hydrogen fuel cell vehicles, buses, small and medium trucks and fork-lifts. SimplefuelTM converts 1.5 gallons of water into hydrogen fuel - enough to fill one fuel cell hydrogen vehicle to travel 300-360 miles.

SimpleFuelTM is a recipient of a one million dollar H2 Refuel H-Prize competition launched in October 2014, which was sponsored by the U.S. Department of Energy and Hydrogen Education Foundation. For more information on SimpleFuel, click here.
