FRIEM is an important player in the global energy conversion market for over 70 years, with experience and accountability. The industrial mission, as well as the investments policy, is focused on the historical core business (power converters). The international leadership – FRIEM is among the top 4 players worldwide in its own sector- qualifies different activities of this primary business.

The company is managed by the third generation of the shareholders with the support of the Fondo Italiano di Investimento, that recently invested in FRIEM through the Fondo Italiano Tecnologia e Crescita (“FITEC”), becoming a minor shareholder. The company has been expanding its activities over the years reaching a turnover of about 35 million euros (of which over 90% stems from abroad) with more than 110 employees worldwide. Between 2023-26 the expected growth will reach about 70 million euros for the core business and the green hydrogen branch.

Through F&F, a joint venture with SERI industrial Group, the Group provides the market with products and solution for energy storages. Besides, through the subsidiary EYES, it serves the sustainable mobility market with EV charging systems and vehicles electrification, by integrating in a single and unconventional value proposition two different business lines, handled separately before.

FRIEM is the right partner to sustain the hydrogen production through electrolysis, for industry and high-power plants. With a central position in the green hydrogen supply chain, between the renewable energies and the end users, both in the process Power to Gas and Gas to Power.

Today FRIEM keeps its headquarters in Segrate (Milan). The industrial area of 11 thousand sqm, counts on workshops and representatives in 27 countries across the 5 continents, beyond two subsidiaries in USA (FRIEM America Inc.), Brasil (FRIEM LATAM Eireli) and a commercial office in Indonesia.
