Shell Holds California Hydrogen Station Opening Event

Shell’s Hydrogen Refueling Station in Torrance, California, Upgraded for Retail Use

Now upgraded for retail use, this state-of-the-art 200-kilogram-per-day station has the fueling capacity of 200 kilograms of hydrogen per 12-hour day (the equivalent of 200 gallons of gasoline per day). Vehicle filling performance and consumer interaction are a focus with station-pay, 350-bar (5,000 psi) and 700-bar (10,000 psi) vehicle fuelings, and the ability to simultaneously fuel two cars. The station is located at 2051 W. 190th Street, Torrance CA 90504.
