Billerica, Massachusetts – October 8, 2020 – Today, Nuvera Fuel Cells, LLC, a provider of fuel cell power solutions for motive applications, joins the nation in celebrating the sixth annual National Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Day. In commemoration of the employees, suppliers, and customers driving the hydrogen revolution, National Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Day recognizes the growth of the industry and raises awareness of the role these technologies play in building a sustainable, clean energy future.
National Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Day is observed on October 8 (10.08) in recognition of the atomic weight of hydrogen: 1.008. Efficient, clean, and quiet, fuel cells generate electricity through a chemical reaction of hydrogen and oxygen, without combustion.
