Today we spoke with our Chief Technology Officer, Christopher Dudfield, to find out more about IE and his thoughts on #NationalHydrogenDay:
“As we look forward to the seventh annual U.S. National Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Day, it is great to be at the forefront of such a pivotal transition for the energy industry. The industry is now adopting hydrogen as an alternative to high carbon fuels, which is being used across a number of industrial sectors, in order to reduce emissions, improve air quality and achieve government targets.
Hydrogen and fuel cells together are an integral part of the Green Industrial Revolution as more businesses embrace them in their technology and product roadmaps.
Here at IE we are very much at the forefront of developing lightweight, compact and power dense fuel cell technology for a wide range customers covering for example UAV, material handling, automotive and aviation applications.
The nature of our design and operation of the technology enables a clear route to volume production, whilst providing the best zero emission power solution for the customer’s applications. We look forward to seeing the industry continue to grow and develop.”
